What form of Payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Cash and Paypal. We cannot accept personal checks.


How far is the Beach?

Our hotel is located in the center of the island on top of a breezy hill. The nearest beach is a short 10 minute car drive away.  


Do you allow Pets?

No, we cannot allow guests to bring their pets. We do have very well behaved resident dogs which are not allowed in the rooms.


Do your Rates include all fees and taxes?

Rates are subject to a 9% room tax. There are no other service fees.


Do you allow Children to stay?

Children 12 years and older are welcome to stay at La Finca. An additional twin bed can be added for a surcharge of $25/night in certain rooms.


Do you offer Airport Pick-ups?

No, we do not offer airport pick-ups.

Please take a taxi from the airport or ferry terminal. It is a very convenient 10 minute ride. You do not have to schedule a ride beforehand, since there's many taxis waiting. Please inform the taxi driver that we are located in the neighborhood of Pilon. The previous name of our hotel was "La Finca Caribe" and most drivers will recognize this name better. The ride is about $20.


What are your Check-in and Check-out times?

WE OFFER 24-HOUR CHECK-IN

REGULAR CHECK-IN : 3-7pm

EARLY CHECK-IN: We are happy to welcome you as early as 8am. While we get your room ready you can enjoy our communal areas, have breakfast or take a dip in the pool.

LATE-CHECK-IN: All check-ins after 7pm are subject to a $25 late-check-in fee and must be scheduled at least 24 hours before arrival. Our front desk closes at this time and we need to schedule for a host to receive you.

REGULAR CHECK-OUT: 11pm.

LATE CHECK-OUT: Late check-out may be scheduled until 4pm. Please coordinate with front desk on day of departure. A $55 fee applies.


What is your Cancellation Policy?

If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made. If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

Please note: Different cancellation policies may apply when reservation was made via a 3rd party booking service (e.g. Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia). Those bookings must be cancelled through the applicable provider, and cannot be cancelled through us.


Is Breakfast included in the rate?

Yes, breakfast is included in the rate. Served every morning from 8:30am-10:30am.


Do your rooms have Mosquito Nets?

While our rooms do not have mosquito nets by default, we are happy to provide them on request.


Is Smoking allowed?

No, smoking is prohibited in the rooms and most communal areas. You can smoke on the designated area in the pool deck.

Please do not smoke in the rooms, as a $200 smoking fee applies.


Are you LGBT-friendly?

Absolutely.


What are your Front Desk Hours?

Front desk hours are from 8am -7pm. We are happy to coordinate a late arrival for an extra $25.


Do you have rooms that can sleep more than two guests?

Yes, the following rooms can sleep more than two guests:

Casa Nuria - 4 guests (2 queen Beds)

Victoria Suite plus - 3 guests (1 King, 1 Twin Bed on request)


How far are you from the main towns, Esperanza and Isabel Segunda?

15 minute car ride


Do you have Parking?

Yes, we have free street parking.


Do the rooms have a mini-bar/fridge?

Yes, all rooms have a mini-fridge as well as a kitchenette.


Do you have a bar/restaurant?

No, but we offer daily breakfast and brunch, and weekly dinner events. We also have a drinks & snack bar that is operated by an honor system.


How often do you offer Yoga?

We offer a complementary morning Yoga class every day.


Are there Restaurants or bars in walking distance?

The Tin Box would be about a 35 minute walk, but we suggest you rent a car or scooter. There are also many good restaurants in Esperanza that are a short drive or taxi ride away.


Do you accommodate big Groups or Events/Weddings?

Do you offer Beach Chairs, Beach Towels?

We do provide beach towels, a beach bag and a cooler. Rather than beach chairs, we provide a Parasheet: a wonderful beach blanket made out of recycled parachute material.


Do you have TV's?

No.


Are there Laundry facilities at La Finca?

While guests cannot access our laundry area, we offer laundry service for $16 per bag.


Do rooms have a Safe?

Yes.


Do rooms have A/C?

No, our rooms are all insulated and built with cross ventilation. We are located on top of a mountain and at night the temperature drops a lot. It is actually very comfortable, sometimes cold.


Do the Outdoor Showers have hot water?

Yes.


Where can I buy Groceries?

There are several grocery stores and fruit stands. Our hosts are happy to point them out to you on the map.


Do the taxis operate 24 hours?

Yes and we are happy to call a taxi for you. We will also provide you with a list of taxi numbers.


What is the weather like in Vieques, Puerto Rico?

Puerto Rico has one of the most unvarying climates in the world. Temperatures year-round range from 75° to 85°F (24°-29°C). Easterly trade winds pass across the island throughout the year. Puerto Rico has a rainy season which stretches from April into November, although Vieques tends to be a lot dryer than the main island.


When is High Travel Season in Puerto Rico?

The months of December through April are considered High Season. A very good time to visit Puerto Rico is from May to June, right after the busy winter season and just before the hotter and sometimes rainy summer. Spring weather is also very pleasant, barely escaping the mid-80's on most days.
