The Land

Finca Victoria is a two and a half acre property with diverse building structures spread around, all tucked among lush vegetation. Our land is fertile with a large variety of tropical plants, fruit trees, flowers and cacti. We have based the design of the space on permaculture principles, with areas designated for our herb garden, medicinal garden and an edible garden from which we source a lot of the food we serve in our vegetarian kitchen.

Living Life

Our days start with 7am yoga classes on our sundeck, followed by an amazing complementary vegetarian breakfast, with vegan options always available. This all happens at the hotel's central structure, an architectural hybrid of loft and wood cabin with black metal framing. Here you'll find a beautiful open living room overlooking the natural water pool. There is also an oil making station where we prepare and mix essential oils, healing balms, teas, natural cigarette blends based on flowers, and other holistic goods. In the middle of the communal house sits a well curated store with kaftans, vintage clothing, jewelry from local designers and natural products all made in house or by other creators from Puerto Rico.

El Livin

THE COMMUNAL HOUSE

We call our large communal house El Livin ("the living room" in Puerto Rican slang). Built with high ceilings and metal trim framing, the house is a 50-foot long hybrid of spacious loft and wooden cabin. Here you'll find our natural pool that uses copper pipes to filter and sterilize the water. El Livin holds different areas within the space. On one side, we have the hotel's open kitchen with a communal table for meals. In another section, there's a small food and convenience store with natural organic products, a designer store featuring local artists, and a working space where we mix oils, beauty products and other natural concoctions. The living room merges into the deck-pool area with hammocks and hanging chairs for lounging.

Corky’s House

MAIN LODGING BUILDING

Corky's House is our main lodging space, named after a dear friend who was the previous owner of La Finca.

The structure faces a serene pond and garden area, and it includes 3 Victoria Suites, Sahar’s Treehouse and the Nuria Suite.

This beautiful home was built by architect Bill Parker in the typical style of a Caribbean home -- high slanted ceilings, exposed beams and wrap around balconies.

Edible Garden

OLD LA FINCA CARIBE

There are several areas where we grow food. As you walk into the property, you will be greeted by the terraces for our main edible garden. These terraces are built from the original shutters of what used to be "La Finca Caribe." This house was dearly known to many people and hosted countless numbers of visitors and families. Nothing was left of it after the hurricane hit the shutters, and yet these doors now that hold the food we eat at breakfast and for the snack bar. We plan on creating more farm land in a future stage, hopefully soon.

Baez-Haus

the Tiny homes

The two Baez-Haus treehouses are strategically splashed around the property for clear ocean views, surrounded by plants to create that 'nest' feeling. These houses were designed by Sylvia de Marco in collaboration with artist Rogelio Baez in the style of tiny homes.
